Tamiya Paint Remover (250ml)

This multi-purpose liquid is capable of removing acrylic, enamel- and lacquer-based paints, including paints for use on polycarbonate. It is kind to model parts surfaces, and does not cause clouding when used on polycarbonate, and can also be used to remove metal plating.

Water-soluble material has low odor levels.

Can be re-used one or two times.

Not for use on ABS resin.

This liquid is specially formulated to dissolve and remove acrylic, enamel and lacquered paints as well as those for polycarbonate. It does not attack the surfaces of the treated parts and does not cause fogging on the transparent polycarbonate. It can also detach a chrome coating.Product soluble in water - Low odor - Can be reused once or twice - Do not use on ABS resin - Read the precautions for use - May mist out the polystyrene transparent - Product performance may vary on paints other than Tamiya. Apply to a rag or wadded stick and rub the surface to be treated. For faster action or a stronger paint, let it work for a minute. To immerse painted objects, pour the product into a small container. Leave the object immersed for 10 minutes then remove the paint with a brush. Rinse the object with water and let it dry completely. To remove a chrome coating, leave the object immersed for about 1 hour. Remove the chrome with a brush. Rinse the object with water and let it dry completely.
