Description:
General Use Originally created by the genius of Norm Veber at Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland, this set of concentric rings provides unparalleled detail applications. In fact the guys at the Newburgh Model Car Club were so devastated when Norm announced his supplier could no longer manufacture, they immediately turned to Scale Motorsport to see if we could bring this sheet back to model builders. If you’ve ever attended a model car competition in the USA no doubt you’ve seen the trophies the Newburgh builders take home with them every time. Our sheet faithfully replicates the same size, gauge of material and quantities of concentric ring details that have numerous applications on every car you will ever build!
Builder's Tip:
Always use a 'non-fogging’ CA Glue when working with photoetch product
F.A.Q. - What are Photoetched Parts and How do I use them.?
Photoetched Detail sets consist of small pieces of steel, brass or copper, etched with various chemicals. Because plastic is fragile, it can not be made thin enough to represent very detailed parts etc.
These Photoetched details are used by just about all experienced modellers to give a realistic finish to the models
We recommend using CA (super glue) or Epoxy Glue to attach the parts, we recommend using one of the various Cement Dipping Sticks to apply the CA to the part and kit.
